Spouses event: a coffee morning at the Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait
On the 14th of September 2022 we had a lovely breakfast at the Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait organised and sponsored by the Outpost. We have welcomed newcomers, networked and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal! Please feel free to join us at the next coffee morning!
Family event: Cultural Orientation session in TIES on the 28th of September
An informative cultural orientation event was hosted at the TIES Center on the 28th of September 2022. There was a presentation on Kuwaiti Culture and Norms by Bibi Al-Ahwadi, and a Kuwaiti member of the TIES center came to share his own experiences of Kuwaiti Culture. After the talks, there was an option where attendees got their names written in beautiful arabic calligraphy. Snacks and drinks including traditional arabic food such as fatayer, zaater pizza, sweets and arabic coffee were provided. New arrivals in Kuwait got to learn a lot about Kuwait’s culture and how to acclimatize in Kuwait.
